Within the framework of the preparation for the match of the fifth round of the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament in group “E” against the Uzbekistan national team, the national team of Turkmenistan held its first training session in Tashkent.
It should be noted that the meeting between the national teams of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will be held on Thursday, June 6, at the Bunyodkor stadium and will begin at 19:30 Ashgabat time.
Let us remind that from May 26 to June 4, the Turkmenistan national team held a training camp in Antalya, Türkiye, under the leadership of head coach Mergen Orazov.
On June 1, a friendly match between the national teams of Turkmenistan and Greenland was held in Antalya. The meeting ended with a crushing victory for the Turkmen team with a score of 5:0.
