Recently, scientists and specialists from the laboratory “Chemistry and Technology of Oil and Gas” of the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan introduced into the production of the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex the technology for producing “Hydro Plus” diesel fuel with improved characteristics and hydrotreating.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, developments were carried out under the leadership of Doctor of Chemical Sciences Myratdurdy Keymirov in collaboration with specialists from the TOPC.
When producing diesel fuel using the developed technology, product yield increases by 15% and its quality improves. The product has been improved for use in all seasons, and this fuel extends the life of the internal combustion engines of the equipment in which it is used.
The improved fuel, in terms of composition and quality characteristics, meets the requirements of the state quality standard for such goods, the source notes.
