American artist Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known as Eminem or Slim Shady, celebrated his 50th birthday. The rapper, music producer and composer is the world's best-selling music artist, winner of fifteen Grammy Awards and an “Oscar”.
The idol of millions was born in 1972 in the small town of St. Joseph, Missouri, USA. His parents were musicians and played in the restaurants of the “Ramada” hotel chain, writers “Mir 24”.
Marshall started rapping at the age of 14, and recorded his first album only 10 years later.
Eminem gained worldwide fame after the release of The Slim Shady LP with the support of the famous rap artist Dr. Dre. Eminem's main album, The Marshall Mathers LP, was released in 2000. In 2002, the rapper received an “Oscar” for the song Lose Yourself, which became the soundtrack to the movie “8 Mile”.
