Athletes from Turkmenistan will participate in the VII International Sports Games “Children of Asia”, which will be held in Vladivostok (Russia) from July 27 to August 8, 2022, reports bigasia.ru with reference to Elmir Valitova, head of the Games Directorate.
Teams from Armenia, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Kazakhstan have also confirmed participation in the games in addition to Turkmenistan.
Competitions in badminton, basketball, boxing, kurash, beach volleyball, judo, athletics, table tennis, swimming, shooting, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, sambo, archery, taekwondo, futsal and rhythmic gymnastics are in the program of “Children of Asia”.
The International Sports Games “Children of Asia” were first held in Yakutia in 1996 in honor of the centenary of the modern Olympic movement.
